The Purple Award recognizes outstanding women in media. Bridget was nominated alongside Apeffie Nfojoh from Ghana and Nyaradzo Makombe from Zimbabwe. The award celebrates exceptional leadership and innovation across Africa.
Bridget oversees PR, Events, and Marketing for YFM and Happy 98.9FM. Her achievements include leading thought leadership campaigns and securing media partnerships. She also produced documentaries on social issues.
She contributed to BBC's "World in 2 Minutes" at the Y Triangle. The 3rd Ladies in Media Awards had the theme ‘The Power of Representation’. Nominees came from Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and more.
The ceremony honored women in 16 categories for their excellence in media. It was hosted by Jay Foley and Michellin Tucker. Performances included Dollah Boi and Zawadi Yamungu.
LIMA aims to celebrate women in media and build excellence. It creates platforms for young women to develop their skills through mentoring and coaching.
