GOIL donates to Chief Imam towards Ramadan

GOIL has donated food items, drinks, and fuel to the Chief Imam. This donation supports activities during Ramadan.

Edward Abambire Bawa, the Group Chief Executive and Managing Director of GOIL PLC, made the presentation. He visited the Chief Imam in Accra.

The donated items included bags of rice, cooking oil, milk, and Milo. It also included bottled water, sachet water, and assorted drinks.

This donation is part of GOIL's commitment to corporate social responsibility. It aims to assist the underprivileged during this sacred period.

During the presentation, Mr. Bawa expressed appreciation for the Chief Imam's leadership. He acknowledged Ramadan as a time for reflection, sacrifice, and charity.

These values align with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

The Chief Imam’s spokesperson, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, thanked GOIL for their generosity. He emphasized that such contributions are vital during Ramadan.

These donations will help provide sustenance for those in need. The Chief Imam encouraged Mr. Bawa to serve with sincerity and a clear conscience.
