The Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) has locked the McDan Aviation Private Jet Terminal, popularly known as Terminal 1, due to the company's failure to settle over $3 million in outstanding debt.

Police officers have been stationed at the facility to prevent access. Alhaji Abdul Issaka Bamba, chairman of the GACL divisional union of the Public Services Workers Union, expressed the Union's support for the management's action, emphasizing that payment of the debt is long overdue.

He warned that other partners with unpaid debts could face similar consequences. A letter from GACL to McDan Aviation underscores the company's firm stance on recovering owed funds to ensure operational sustainability.
