The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has reaffirmed its partnership with the Africa Energy Technology Centre (AETC) for AETC 2025, Africa’s first energy technology conference led by an African woman.

In a meeting with newly appointed Minister Dr. John A. Jinapor, his deputy, and Chief Director Mrs. Wilhelmina Asamoah, AETC Founder Emelia Akumah and board member Tony Burkson discussed Ghana’s commitment to leading Africa’s energy transformation.

The conference aims to drive innovation and investment in the sector by bringing together government leaders, investors, technology firms, academics, and youth and women leaders.

It will address Africa’s energy challenges and promote cross-sector collaboration, positioning Ghana as a hub for energy technological advancement and helping provide affordable, reliable electricity to 600 million Africans.
