Ghana’s economy rebounding impressively – Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in his final New Year Message on December 31, highlighted Ghana's robust economic recovery, marked by a 7.2% GDP growth in Q3 2024 and a projected annual growth of 6.8%.

He attributed this progress to the resilience of the Ghanaian people and government efforts in overcoming domestic and global challenges, including the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The President emphasized that these growth figures reflect improved lives and brighter futures, acknowledging the sacrifices and hardships endured along the way.

He praised the Ghanaian spirit, describing the post-pandemic years as a testament to collective resilience and strength. As the nation prepares for 2025, he encouraged citizens to remain hopeful and united in navigating future challenges.
