Global Citizen appoints Managing Director for Africa Programs

Global Citizen has appointed Ifeoma Chuks-Adizue as Managing Director, of Africa, to lead the organization’s strategy on the continent and oversee the Move Afrika initiative, a groundbreaking international music touring circuit aimed at boosting economic investment and entrepreneurship in Africa.

Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Ifeoma will manage partnerships, marketing, and operations while working with Global Citizen’s executive leadership in New York to strengthen relationships with private sector and philanthropic partners.

Ifeoma brings two decades of experience in brand management, sales, and media, with notable success at CAP PLC, Procter & Gamble, and Cadbury Nigeria.

A passionate advocate for women, she authored The Uncommon Woman and founded the Uncommon Woman Movement. The inaugural Move Afrika event in Rwanda, headlined by Kendrick Lamar, created significant local employment and skills training opportunities.
