The inauguration of Bank Square, the Bank of Ghana’s new headquarters, showcases Ghanaian innovation and the capabilities of local businesses. Built by Goldkey Properties Limited, a wholly Ghanaian-owned company, the project represents a milestone in modern, sustainable architecture and local enterprise excellence.

The state-of-the-art facility, designed to house 2,500 staff, features advanced sustainability measures, including solar power, rainwater harvesting, and self-cleaning facades, making it one of the most eco-friendly office buildings in West Africa. The development also incorporates cutting-edge security and operational efficiency systems.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo praised the project as a "landmark of pride," while other speakers highlighted its alignment with global infrastructure standards.

During construction, Goldkey directly employed over 9,200 workers and indirectly supported 3,100, fostering local job creation and knowledge transfer.

This entirely Ghanaian-led initiative not only elevates Accra’s skyline but also demonstrates the potential of local expertise to deliver world-class projects, cementing Goldkey Properties’ legacy as a leader in sustainable, innovative development in Ghana and Africa.
