Dr. Ernest Addison, Governor of the Bank of Ghana, has emphasized the importance of a harmonized regulatory framework and strategic partnerships in achieving financial inclusion and enhancing intra-African trade.
Speaking at the Continental Mobile Interoperability Symposium in Accra, he highlighted the need for unified regulations across African nations to facilitate seamless financial services and cross-border transactions.
Dr. Addison stressed the role of collaboration among governments, financial institutions, and tech companies to build robust digital infrastructure.
He also noted that partnerships could drive the adoption of digital financial services, benefiting underserved populations and stimulating economic growth.
