Inflation declines to 22.4% in March - Ghanaian Times

The year-on-year inflation rate in Ghana slowed to 22.4% in March 2025. This is down from 23.1% in February, according to the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS).

On a month-to-month basis, inflation fell to 0.2% in March. This is a decrease from 1.3% in February.

Professor Samuel K. Annim, the Government Statistician, announced these figures in Accra yesterday. He noted that food inflation was the main factor affecting the March rate.

Food inflation decreased to 26.5% in March from 28.1% in February. Additionally, there was a month-on-month deflation of -0.2% for food prices in March.
