Zenith Bank has been refurbishing the Odumase M/A Basic School consistently. These efforts are part of a commitment made during the Bank’s 19th anniversary celebration last year. The Bank aims to support educational advancement in the community.
Madam Cynthia Amerley Amarteifio, Group Head of Marketing for Zenith Bank (Ghana) Ltd, spoke on behalf of the MD/CEO. She highlighted the Bank’s dedication to responsible corporate citizenship. Since 2005, Zenith Bank has focused on health, education, ICT, and youth empowerment.
Madam Amarteifio stated that refurbishing the school block shows their commitment to sustainable development. She emphasized creating an environment where learning can thrive for future generations.
Ms. Linda Offeibea Larbi, Headmistress of the school, expressed gratitude to Zenith Bank. She noted that their initiative has improved the learning environment for pupils. “This is not just a building; it represents hope for our children,” she said.
Ms. Larbi praised Zenith Bank's leadership for supporting education in Odumase. She believes their contributions will have a lasting impact on future generations. “Partnerships like this help us create a better learning environment,” she added.
She also pledged to maintain the school and its facilities for future use. Mr. Victor Noye Tawiah, Municipal Director of Education for Ga West, called Zenith Bank's gesture a valuable investment in children's futures. He believes it will inspire hope and excellence among students.
The event included teachers from the school and members of the Ga West Education Directorate. It also featured local leaders and representatives from the Ga Odumase stool.
