John Jinapor Is Incompetent And Must Be Sacked” – NPP Communicator

Abubakari Yakubu, a member of the NPP Communications Team, criticized Energy Minister John Jinapor. He called Jinapor "incompetent" and unfit to lead the energy sector.

Yakubu's comments followed news that missing containers from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have been found. This contradicts earlier claims made by Jinapor.

In an interview with Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Original TV, Yakubu said, “John Jinapor is incompetent and must be sacked.” He added that Jinapor created panic by claiming ECG containers were missing. Now that they are found, he questioned who Jinapor was trying to deceive.

Yakubu also criticized how Jinapor has managed the energy sector. He recalled a previous warning from the Minister about only having two days of fuel left before potential power outages.

“This is the same man who claimed we were two days away from total darkness,” Yakubu stated. He believes this shows a lack of understanding and leadership. According to him, Jinapor has no real solutions for our energy issues.

These accusations have sparked renewed political debate. Critics are questioning the credibility of Jinapor's statements and how thoroughly the Energy Ministry checks facts before making announcements.
