GCB Bank PLC has appointed Professor Joshua Alabi as its new Board Chairman, following the resignation of Mr. Daniel Kwaku Tweneboah Asirifi.
Professor Alabi, a distinguished academic, administrator, and strategist with over three decades of experience, has held high-profile roles such as Chairman of HFC Bank and Vice-Chancellor of UPSA.
His expertise in governance and strategic planning is expected to enhance the bank's vision of fostering innovation and operational efficiency.
Additionally, Farihan Alhassan has been named Managing Director after Kofi Adomakoh’s resignation.
With over 20 years of banking experience, Alhassan previously led SME-focused initiatives at Stanbic Bank Ghana and held key positions at Barclays (now Absa).
His appointment is set to drive GCB’s strategic growth, financial inclusion, and customer-centered solutions.
