Ladybird Logistics recognized for gender equality

Ladybird Logistics, a subsidiary of ZEN Petroleum, was recognized at the Africa Sustainable Futures Awards for its innovative all-female driver team.

The Female Driver Programme empowers women in the traditionally male-dominated transport industry, breaking gender barriers and improving the livelihoods of women drivers. This initiative aligns with Africa’s development goals, fostering gender equality and sustainable growth.

The awards ceremony, part of the Financial Times’ Africa Summit, celebrated impactful initiatives across the continent.

ZEN Petroleum’s Board Chair, Tutu Agyare, and CEO, William Tewiah, accepted the award, highlighting the company’s commitment to purposeful leadership and creating sustainable change within communities.
