President John Mahama's administration is introducing new incentives to support private sector businesses in creating jobs and addressing unemployment.
Chief of Staff Julius Debrah announced plans for consultations with businesses to provide concessions that enhance their operations and job creation efforts.
Meanwhile, First Sky Group is advancing a renewable energy initiative in northern Ghana, constructing a 200MW solar PV plant in Yendi in partnership with the Bui Power Authority. The project, 65% complete, is expected to be operational by mid-2025.
First Sky Group, a Ghanaian conglomerate, operates across sectors like construction, energy, hospitality, insurance, and banking.
Starting in 2002 with three employees, it now employs over 3,800 staff and continues to expand its impact on Ghana’s economy with ambitious projects and diversified operations.
