Dr. Ishmael Yamson, Chairman of the National Economic Dialogue, has highlighted the challenging path ahead in resetting Ghana's economy, as pledged by President John Dramani Mahama.

He emphasized that the process will be fraught with risks and frustrations from both internal and external sources. Despite these challenges, Dr. Yamson expressed optimism, citing President Mahama's determined leadership and the readiness of Ghanaians to support this vision.

Addressing the dialogue themed "Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together," Dr. Yamson pointed out that many of the nation's economic problems are self-inflicted. He called for collective responsibility from both leaders and citizens to reshape Ghana's economic destiny.

Dr. Yamson also warned that economic mismanagement and corruption are causing Ghana's youth to lose hope, underscoring the urgency for reforms to restore confidence and drive economic recovery.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Yamson reaffirmed his confidence in President Mahama's ability to lead the nation's economic reset, urging all stakeholders to unite in this critical endeavor.
