McDan Group of Companies has expressed disappointment over the Ghana Airport Company Limited’s (GACL) decision to shut down its private jet terminal at Kotoka International Airport due to an alleged $3 million debt.
The company, however, clarified that it does not owe the reported amount and acknowledged its financial obligations.
McDan confirmed that it made an additional payment last week, with plans to continue payments from January 2025.
The company also explained that it is involved in a land litigation case, which has been communicated to GACL, requesting a suspension of payments until the matter is resolved.
McDan remains committed to constructive dialogue to reach a favorable resolution.
