McDan retains CISCM 'Man of the Year' honour  

Dr. Daniel McKorley is a leader in logistics and trade. He has worked hard to modernize Africa’s supply chain networks. His efforts help the continent compete globally.

Dr. McKorley has faced many challenges, including logistic bottlenecks and technological gaps. His recognition shows his commitment to overcoming these issues.

Richard Obeng Okrah, President of CISCM, praised Dr. McKorley’s impact. He said, “Dr. McKorley transforms Africa’s future with innovative strategies.”

A Legacy of Excellence

As head of McDan Group, Dr. McKorley reshapes Africa’s supply chain infrastructure. A key achievement is the McDan Logistics Hub in Tema, Ghana.

This hub supports regional trade with advanced warehousing and tracking systems. It streamlines cargo movement across West Africa.

Under his leadership, McDan Shipping has become a top maritime logistics provider. This significantly reduces transit times and costs for businesses.

Celebrating Excellence Across the African Continent

The 2024 CISCM Night honored various leaders in Integrated Supply Chain Management. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie was named the 2024 CISCM Woman of the Year.

Her leadership promotes collaboration between public and private sectors using CISCM value streams.

Prof. Joshua Alabi received recognition for his leadership at the University of Professional Studies, Accra.

Dr. Kofi Asamoah was honored for excellence in Ports and Harbours Operations and Management.
