Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), reaffirmed the government’s commitment to tackling challenges with the Cylinder Recirculation Model (CRM) and supporting growth in Ghana’s LPG distribution sector.
During a tour of LPG bottling plants operated by Goil, New Gas, and Blue Ocean in the Tema enclave accompanied by his deputies, Dr. Sheila Addo and Dr. Dramani Bukari Tamakloe assured stakeholders of continued collaboration with businesses in the petroleum downstream industry.
He emphasized that the NPA’s regulatory approach is pro-business, aimed at protecting compliant Ghanaian enterprises. Additionally, he pledged to address concerns raised by bottling plant owners, specifically the issue of unlicensed companies offering LPG door-to-door services that undermine established safety protocols.
