Peter Boamah Otokunor, Director of Presidential Initiatives in Agriculture and Agribusiness, underscored the importance of the National Economic Dialogue held on March 3-4, 2025, as a platform for building consensus on Ghana’s sustainable development.
Speaking on KeyPoints on March 8, he noted that the event was crucial for understanding the country's challenges and uniting diverse stakeholders.
Otokunor recalled that critics, including the previous government, dismissed the initiative as lacking ideas but argued that true wisdom lies in collective effort, stating, "If you want to go far, you go together."
He affirmed that the dialogue successfully fostered a genuine desire for economic transformation among participants, aligning with its theme, "Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together."
