Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has met with Mr. Tomáš Pojar, National Security Advisor of the Czech Republic, to explore new avenues for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

The discussions, held in Accra, focused on key areas including defence, security, transport, scholarships, and medical training.

Mr. Pojar acknowledged the over 60-year relationship between Ghana and the Czech Republic and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to enhancing cooperation for mutual benefit.

Mr. Ablakwa expressed appreciation for the Czech Republic’s support in sectors such as agriculture, education, water purification, and security. He proposed a business forum to foster partnerships between the two nations’ private sectors.

Both parties concluded the meeting with a shared pledge to deepen bilateral ties and promote initiatives aimed at improving the lives of their citizens.
