Pearl Nkrumah appointed as Chair of GSE Council

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has appointed Pearl Nkrumah as Chairperson of its Council, following the resignation of John Kofi Adomakoh. Her appointment took effect on February 21, 2025.

Ms. Nkrumah, a representative of listed companies on the Council since September 2023, is an experienced banking executive with over 25 years in multinational financial institutions.

Currently, she is the Executive Director for Retail and Digital Banking at Access Bank (Ghana) PLC, driving digital strategy and retail growth. She holds an MBA, BSc in Business Administration, and LLB, along with a Diploma in Corporate Governance.

Her expertise spans business strategy, ethical leadership, and ESG practices. The GSE expressed confidence in her leadership to guide its strategic direction and wished her success in the role.
