Profile of Deputy Director-General of SSNIT, Dr. Hoffman

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr. Bernardette Naa Hoffman as Deputy Director-General for Finance and Administration at SSNIT.

A seasoned banking professional with over 17 years of experience, Dr. Hoffman has held leadership positions in Canada, England, and Ghana at Zurich Insurance, Cooperative Bank, and Guaranty Trust Bank (Gh) Ltd.

Transitioning to private enterprise, she served as Director of Business Development and Supply Chain Management and founded the Bern Hoffman Foundation, which empowers women and youth.

Holding a Doctorate in Business Administration, an MBA in Corporate Finance, and a BA in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, she is also an adjunct lecturer and financial crime prevention specialist. For 16 years, she has been a prominent advocate for reducing inequality.
