Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has pledged to use the recommendations from the National Economic Dialogue as his guiding framework for shaping the 2025 Budget Statement and economic policy.
Speaking at the forum’s closing session, he assured stakeholders their concerns would be reflected in the budget, emphasizing the need for collaborative economic reforms. He acknowledged that implementation remains Ghana’s biggest economic challenge and called for public buy-in to ensure success.
With the budget set for presentation on March 11, Dr. Forson emphasized structural reforms, revenue mobilization, and fiscal responsibility.
He urged private sector, civil society, and public support for economic transformation, stressing the interconnectedness of macroeconomics, infrastructure, governance, and corruption reforms.
