Reflo’s, Florence Mensah Foundation mark Menstrual Hygiene Day with pad distribution in Ashaiman, Nima, Ochiso

"Period poverty should never hinder a girl's education or future," said Florence Mensah. She is the Founder of The Florence Mensah Foundation.

"This campaign helps young girls feel supported and empowered," she added. "It allows them to focus on their dreams."

Rebecca Osam, CEO of Reflo Company Ltd., shared her mission. "This Menstrual Hygiene Day reminds me why I started Reflo," she said.

"I want every girl and woman to access safe, high-quality sanitary products." She emphasized that menstrual hygiene is a basic right, not a luxury.

Osam continued, "At Reflo, we promote comfort, confidence, and care." No woman should settle for less than this.

The outreach highlights the need for menstrual hygiene education. It also emphasizes access in underserved communities. This marks a successful collaboration between two organizations empowering girls across Ghana.
