Repealing E-levy is not the best decision - Stephen Amoah

The government has increased some mining taxes. They also reinstated other taxes that were supposed to end. These changes are meant for continuity in tax policy.

Increasing taxes affects the economy, regardless of the percentage. I am not against tax increases if fiscal conditions allow it.

As a developing economy, Ghana faces high targets after a severe global crisis. This decision may not be the best one for us. However, we have been led to believe it is beneficial.

Mahama has approved the repeal of the E-levy and betting tax, among other bills.
