Republic Bank (Ghana) delegation visits President Mahama to strengthen economic ties

On February 11, 2025, Benjamin Dzoboku, Managing Director of Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC, led a delegation from Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) to visit President John Dramani Mahama.

The visit aimed to congratulate him on his election and explore opportunities for collaboration between Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago, where RFHL is based.

Dzoboku highlighted the bank’s role in mortgage financing, providing access to credit cards for low to middle-income Ghanaians, and supporting women-led SMEs.

Vincent Pereira, Chairman of RFHL, expressed appreciation for the meeting and reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to Ghana’s economic growth. The meeting emphasized the importance of partnerships between financial institutions and governments in fostering economic progress.
