Ziplining is a new recreational activity in Ghana. However, it has practical roots in transportation for remote areas. Participants are harnessed to a pulley and glide along a cable. This thrilling outdoor experience offers beautiful views.
Ziplining provides an adrenaline rush while hanging high above the ground. Safety is prioritized with harnesses, helmets, and protective gear. From the zipline, you can enjoy stunning landscapes.
The Kpando ziplining experience offers breathtaking views of Volta Lake. Meanwhile, We-Ape Mega Park in Aburi provides an immersive forest adventure with lush rainforests. Both parks are appealing for different reasons.
Kofi Dro from ‘Ghana Is Beautiful’ explains that proximity influenced the choice of We-Ape Park for the next WangoWango itinerary. They have partnered with Native Adventures for a 3-day road trip getaway.
This trip is called ‘Adventucrescape!’ It begins with a visit to Kawa Moka Coffee Roastery at Adenta. Visitors will see how coffee is roasted into dark brown beans.
Kawa Moka is owned by women in Ghana and blends coffee with herbs and spices like prekese and ginger. The three-day tour promises exciting activities for families to enjoy.
Activities include swimming, lawn tennis, soccer, and golf. Guests will stay at Platinum Blue Island Resort on Volta Lake. This newly opened resort hosts an eco camp retreat.
Participants can choose between premium accommodation or WangoWango glam pop-up tents. Themed dinners will feature locally sourced dishes served by lantern light along Lake Volta.
‘Adventucrescape!’ runs from June 7 to June 9. It includes a visit to interact with zebras and ducks at Safari Eco Park in Okere Valley.
This event is powered by Ghana Is Beautiful (GIB) and Native Adventures. For more details, WhatsApp 0244697046.
