SAYeTECH wins the MEST Africa challenge 2024

SAYeTECH, a Ghanaian AgriTech startup, emerged as the winner of the 2024 MEST Africa Challenge (MAC), securing $50,000 in equity funding.

Led by Theodore Ohene-Botchway, SAYeTECH develops innovative agricultural machinery tailored for African conditions, aimed at increasing smallholder farmers' productivity and sustainability.

The competition, themed "Find Your Soil", focused on AgriTech innovation and attracted applicants from 14 West African countries, with six finalists pitching transformative solutions.

Hosted in partnership with the Norwegian Embassy in Accra, the event spotlighted groundbreaking agricultural technologies.

MEST Africa, a key supporter of tech entrepreneurship in Africa, continues to provide startups with visibility, funding, and access to global networks. The MAC remains a leading platform for fostering innovation, creating jobs, and advancing digital skills across the continent.
