Sammy Gyamfi, Esq. pledges to transform PMMC with focus on transparency and community empowerment

Sammy Gyamfi, Esq., has been appointed Acting Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), succeeding Nana Akwasi Awuah.

A legal expert with extensive experience in the minerals sector, Gyamfi has pledged to enhance transparency, stakeholder collaboration, and equitable distribution of Ghana’s mineral wealth.

Key priorities include strengthening community engagement, institutional reforms, and establishing the Ghana Gold Board to boost gold trading.

Outgoing MD Nana Akwasi Awuah commended the team’s progress in financial management and operational efficiency, expressing confidence in Gyamfi’s leadership.
