Samsung Electronics has launched the One UI 7 beta program, introducing advanced security features tailored for the AI era. This update prioritizes data protection through the Knox Matrix system, which leverages private blockchain technology for real-time security monitoring across connected Samsung devices.

Users gain control via a unified dashboard to manage security risks and device updates efficiently.

Key innovations include passkey integration for seamless authentication, enhanced theft protection with biometric safeguards, and new Maximum Restrictions features like blocking 2G networks and insecure Wi-Fi.

Additional measures include USB connection blocking and the Safe Install system to prevent malicious app installations.

One UI 7's official rollout begins in Q1 2025 with the Galaxy S series, incorporating on-device AI enhancements. The beta program is now accessible on Galaxy S24 devices in select markets, fostering user feedback for refinement.
