Dr. Stephen Amoah, MP for Nhyiaeso, has called for proactive measures to address the root causes of inflation instability in Ghana.
Speaking in Parliament, he criticized the current approach of tackling only the symptoms rather than implementing long-term solutions.
He emphasized that inflation instability disrupts budgeting and planning across all sectors of the economy. To address this, Dr. Amoah proposed a mixed approach to managing commodity prices.
He expressed optimism about the positive reception of his proposal and the willingness of fellow MPs to form parliamentary committees to tackle the issue effectively.
