Trade Minister advocates 24-Hour Economy at Softcare FM

Trade Minister Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare visited Softcare FM Manufacturing Ltd to assess its operations and reinforce the government’s support for local manufacturers. She commended the company for maintaining high production standards, creating jobs, and supplying essential hygiene products.

Ms. Ofosu-Adjare emphasized Softcare FM’s role in industrial self-sufficiency, import substitution, and export competitiveness under AfCFTA. She encouraged the company to embrace the 24-Hour Economy policy by optimizing production, investing in technology, and enhancing efficiency.

The Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to infrastructure improvements, regulatory support, and tackling counterfeit products to boost local manufacturing.
