The 11th Angel Fair Africa (AFA@11), held on November 7, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya, showcased the dynamism of Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The event featured panels on entrepreneurial transitions, investor insights, and scaling startups.

Founders Mike Macharia (Ponea Health) and Tesh Mbaabu (Chpter) shared their transition journeys. Investors Achumboro Ataande and Mia von Koschitzky-Kimani highlighted strategies for identifying and supporting African startups.

Dr. James Mworia of Centum Group inspired attendees with his rise from filing clerk to CEO, growing Centum’s assets significantly. Panels explored diverse themes, from female-led investing to scaling challenges, featuring entrepreneurs like Jit Bhattacharya of Basigo.

Pitches from startups and scaleups, such as BenBen (Ghana) and House Africa (Nigeria), attracted attention. The event concluded with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, and exits, emphasizing Africa's growing investment potential.
