Trolls to throne: King Promise is the chosen one!

King Promise’s journey is a story of resilience. He faced criticism and setbacks but emerged as a leading voice in Ghanaian music. In 2024, King Promise turned the tide with new music. His single "Terminator" blended Afrobeats, Amapiano, and dancehall into a global hit. The song sparked viral dance challenges on TikTok and Instagram. Other tracks like "Perfect Combi" showcased his musical evolution.

King Promise's global presence grew through sold-out tours across Europe and North America. He became an ambassador for Ghanaian music on the world stage. Critics who once overlooked him began to take notice as he delivered consistent hits.

On May 10, 2025, at TGMA26, King Promise finally received recognition for his hard work. When they announced Artiste of the Year, cheers erupted throughout the Grand Arena. He also won three additional awards that night.

During his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him over the years. Reflecting on past nominations without wins made this moment even more special for him. He emphasized working harder despite setbacks because he believed in God's timing.
