The UK-funded Jobs and Economic Transformation (JET) Programme, in collaboration with Uhuru Investment Partners, has facilitated a £12 million investment in Cresta Paints to scale production in Ghana's automotive refinish market.

This initiative is part of Ghana’s drive to enhance manufacturing and value addition, leveraging its emerging automotive industry, projected to reach $11 billion by 2028.

The investment, supported by the UK's Development Finance Institution, British Investment International, will create 250 new jobs, boost exports, and substitute imports in the automotive refinishing sector. Cresta Paints' expansion aligns with the industry's shift towards local sourcing and supports underserved domestic markets.

JET’s support underscores its mission to position Ghana as an investment-ready automotive hub, fostering industrial growth and sustainable job creation through strategic partnerships and technical assistance.
