Victory Bible Church International celebrates 40 years of Impact

Bishop Tackie-Yarboi Leads VBCI's Growth

Presiding Bishop Nii Nabi Nii Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi has led the church since its start. He believes VBCI’s growth comes from balancing spiritual and practical needs.

VBCI's mission is “Raising the Foundations of Many Generations.” This is based on Isaiah 58:12, which speaks about rebuilding and restoring communities.

40th Anniversary Launch

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, VBCI launched its 40th anniversary at Dominion Sanctuary in Accra. They unveiled a special anniversary logo during the event.

After the ceremony, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi spoke to journalists. He highlighted that VBCI has thrived for 40 years by focusing on both spiritual and physical well-being.

He explained that the church functions as both an organization and an organism. The organism focuses on spiritual matters while the organization addresses material needs. This balance keeps the church united and vibrant.

Bishop Tackie-Yarboi emphasized the importance of organizational structure. He noted that churches often struggle when they neglect this aspect. Teaching people about heaven without addressing earthly survival can be challenging.

Celebration Activities

The 40th anniversary will feature various events. These include a conference with international speakers, outdoor crusades, and street evangelism.

There will also be a musical concert with gospel artists from VBCI and other ministries. Community outreach programs, charity events, health walks, and health screenings are planned as well.

Specific projects will be identified for communities with branch churches. These may include building classroom blocks, boreholes, or renovating clinics as needed.

Youth-centric events will create platforms for young people to thrive. They will receive guidance for leadership and have safe spaces to discuss challenges. The celebration will conclude with a week-long gathering called the “Wonderful Jesus Conference” in October 2025.

Victory Bible Church International is a dynamic Charismatic Christian commission based in Accra, Ghana. Founded on biblical principles, it aims to spread hope through Jesus Christ.

Under Bishop Tackie-Yarboi's leadership, VBCI serves millions in Ghana and beyond as a beacon of hope and spiritual guidance.
