Vivo Energy provides training for Women of Chosen Rehabilitation Centre

Engage Africa facilitated hands-on bead craft training sessions. Skilled trainers taught trainees technical skills, creativity, and discipline. This training aimed to help them achieve self-reliance. It also prepared them for independent living and income generation.

Christian Li, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, spoke at the event. He praised the women’s efforts during their training. “We are proud to stand with you as you complete your journey,” he said. He emphasized that true empowerment comes from providing tools and opportunities.

Li added that the training creates a pathway to dignity and confidence. The exhibition showcased resilience, creativity, and renewed purpose.

The program concluded with a colorful exhibition at the rehabilitation center. Trainees displayed handcrafted beadwork, including jewelry and decorative pieces. This event marked their successful completion of the program.

Shirley Tony Kum, Corporate Communications Manager of Vivo Energy Ghana, expressed optimism about the trainees' skills. She stated that true energy lies in inspiring hope and change lives. The Energising Hope initiative has shown resilience and transformation among participants.

For many trainees, this was their first experience in handcrafting. They created beautiful items like necklaces, bracelets, bags, and keyholders. Each piece represented hope and patience for a better life outside.

Trainees expressed gratitude to Vivo Energy Ghana for this initiative. They believe it is transforming the lives of less privileged individuals.

The Energising Hope program is part of Vivo Energy Ghana’s community investment portfolio. It reflects the company’s commitment to inclusive growth in local communities.
