We’ll work with inputs from diverse group of experts – Terkper

Seth Terkper, former Finance Minister and newly appointed Presidential Advisor on the Economy, has expressed his commitment to leveraging insights from diverse experts to reset Ghana’s economy.

In a post on his X page, he conveyed gratitude for the goodwill following his appointment by President John Dramani Mahama, stating, “I look forward to working with inputs from our diverse group of experts.”

The announcement, dated January 21, 2025, was issued by Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Acting Presidential Spokesperson. Terkper’s role involves providing strategic guidance on fiscal policy, debt management, and economic recovery strategies.

Acknowledging the significance of his new assignment, Terkper pledged to work diligently and humbly to address critical economic challenges and foster growth. “I will endeavour to work harder and with humility,” he affirmed.
