We’re doing a comprehensive review of all contracts and payment requests to verify legitimacy – Finance Minister

The Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson stated that the Mahama administration is conducting a comprehensive review of all contracts and payment requests to verify their legitimacy.

He emphasized that no contractor, including former lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong, has been paid since he took office. In response to reports claiming otherwise specifically, that payments were being made to contractors linked to Ken City Company Limited Dr. Forson urged the public to disregard such claims.

In a post on his X page, he reiterated that no payments have been authorized, referring to the allegations as insignificant. His remarks underscore the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in managing public funds.
