YFM pays courtesy call on Youth Minister; pledges support in youth dev’t and anti-drug abuse campaign

YFM has been a leading radio station for the youth demographic. They are eager to support the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment.

Mr. Boateng highlighted GMA's commitment to a partnership beyond radio. He mentioned their focus on anti-drug education campaigns.

"As YFM, we want our partnership to have a broader impact," he said. "We are ready to support the Ministry in fighting drug abuse."

He emphasized the urgent need to address opioid abuse among young people. YFM aims to empower youth through its influence and reach.

"There is a strong focus within YFM on youth development," Mr. Boateng stated. "We believe this is the right time for meaningful change."

Minister George Opare Addo expressed gratitude for YFM's visit and proposals. He hopes to deepen their relationship and connect with more young people.

The partnership will focus on combating opioid abuse, especially concerning a substance known as "red." Both YFM and the Ministry are committed to raising awareness about drug risks.
