Yango Ride introduces free trip insurance programme for partner’s drivers, passengers in partnership with Glico

Yango Ride, in collaboration with Glico Life Insurance, has launched a Free Trip Insurance Programme in Ghana to enhance safety for passengers and drivers using the Yango app.

The insurance covers medical expenses, disability, bodily injury, or death during rides at no additional cost. This initiative is part of Yango’s efforts to improve safety features across its services, including insurance for Yango Delivery couriers.

Tom Ofonime, Yango's Country Manager in Ghana, emphasized the company’s commitment to safety, while Glico Life Insurance’s Managing Director, Maame Dufie Achampong-Kyei, highlighted the importance of insurance, particularly during the festive season. This partnership aims to improve road safety and provide peace of mind to users.
