2 policemen, 1 civilian shot dead in Binduri

Two policemen and one civilian were killed in separate attacks. The incidents occurred in the Binduri District of the Upper East Region.

The victims, George Rockson and Isaac Kofi, were constables. They were not in uniform when they were attacked. The assailants shot them while they traveled on a private motorbike from Bongo to Binduri on Sunday afternoon.

After the attack, the gunmen stole the policemen's motorbike.

A civilian named Salifu Majeed was also killed that day. He was believed to be in his late 20s. His motorbike was set on fire at Nafkologa, a suburb of Binduri.
