20 students arrested after violent brawl at Salaga SHS

Twenty students from Salaga Senior High School in the East Gonja Municipality have been arrested following a violent altercation on campus.

The fight, which left one student with stab wounds, prompted swift action from school authorities and the police.

A locally manufactured pistol and one round of ammunition were also seized during the incident.

School officials condemned the violent behavior, expressing disappointment and confirming that the students have been handed over to the police for further investigation.

Seventeen of the arrested students have been granted bail, while three remain in custody. Police are continuing to take statements from the suspects as the investigation progresses.
