The Ashanti Regional Police Command has launched a crackdown on Thinkers Island. This area is known for illegal drug activities in Kumasi. They have arrested 34 suspects during this operation.

These arrests follow a directive from Interior Minister Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak. This marks an important step in reclaiming Thinkers Island from drug-related activities.

The suspects are currently in police custody. Investigations are ongoing, and evidence is being examined for forensic analysis.

In another operation, police arrested 29-year-old Adam Mohammed for illegal narcotics trade at Aboabo No.1.
