4 suspected armed robbers killed in gun battle with police

Four suspected armed robbers terrorizing Adansi communities in Obuasi were killed. They died in a fierce gun battle with the police.

One suspect is in critical condition and under police guard. He is receiving treatment at the Bekwai Government Hospital.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Joseph Hammond Nyaaba spoke at a press briefing. He said this operation was a major breakthrough against violent crime in the region.

He identified the gang's leaders as Sampson, also known as "Sammy Tugah," and W.K., an ex-convict from Old Edubiase.
