Investigations are ongoing Investigations are ongoing

The Accra High Court has adjourned the trial of Safina Mohammed Adizatu, also known as Safina Diamond, to February 27, 2025, as it awaits the Chief Justice's directives on empaneling a seven-member jury.

Safina, a student accused of murdering her Canadian boyfriend, Frank Kofi Osei, has pleaded not guilty and remains on bail.

The prosecution alleges that on July 24, 2022, Osei visited Safina at her Ashalley Botwe residence, where he was stabbed and strangled by Safina and her accomplices.

The body was left in the room for 24 hours before being moved near his vehicle at the gate.

Safina later reported the death to the police, who discovered Osei's body outside the house. Investigations are ongoing.
