Alleged leader of car stealing syndicate granted GH¢200, 000 bail

The Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to Nana Anderson Abeka.

He is 37 years old and accused of leading a car stealing syndicate.

The bail amount is GH¢200,000.00 with two sureties, one to be justified.

Abeka pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing, fraud, and forgery.

Police Chief Inspector Dzigbordi Nego informed the court about Abeka's arrest.

He was caught at a hideout in Atasemanso, Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

Abeka is also known as Essel Kof Elvis and Wilson Kojo Bismark.

He is currently unemployed.

An alleged accomplice named Gideon Baah remains at large.
