Amansie South: Police on manhunt for two gold robbers

Police are pursuing two armed robbers who escaped with over 30 pounds of gold, GH¢11,000, and vehicle keys after attacking community miners in Manso Watreso, Ashanti Region.

Two accomplices were captured and lynched by residents following the attack, while the remaining suspects fled with the stolen items.

Assembly Member Kofi Mensah confirmed the incident, stating the robbers targeted miners returning from work.

Police have retrieved the bodies of the lynched suspects for autopsy and initiated investigations to track down the fugitives.

The community remains on edge as the search intensifies.
