Armed robbers attack shop at Wassa Dompoase; bolt with sacks of gold

A violent robbery occurred at Humble Gold Buying Enterprise in Wassa Dompoase, Western Region, where seven armed robbers attacked the gold shop around 1 p.m. on Monday.

They stole two sacks of money and gold.

During the raid, one shopkeeper was shot twice and is in critical condition, while two others were injured but are stable.

The robbers, wielding guns and knives, forced their way in, demanded the safe keys, and fled with the loot.

Police are now searching for the suspects responsible for the brutal attack.
