Armed robbers strike at Dormabin Filling Station, leave one dead

A robbery at a filling station in Dormabin, Krachi East Municipality, turned tragic as gunmen killed Isaac Dampoki, who had stopped to buy fuel.

The attackers fired indiscriminately, stealing GH¢9,000 before fleeing.

Residents rushed the injured Dampoki to a CHPS compound, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred to WoraWora Government Hospital.

Sadly, he died in transit.

The Dambai Police have launched an investigation and heightened security in response.

The incident has left the community shaken, with calls for enhanced measures to curb rising insecurity.
